Description

Travel Physical Therapy |$2730 | (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 40hour/week

Facility Type: 100-Bed Hospital | Level III Trauma Center
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
2 weekend shifts per month required

Experience Requirements
Inpatient Physical Therapy experience required
Experience working in an acute care hospital setting
Comfortable managing medically complex patients

Licensure & Certifications
Active Physical Therapist license
BLS (AHA) – required

Facility & Team Overview
Current Staff:
4 Physical Therapists (PT)
2 Occupational Therapists (OT)
2 Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP)
Multiple PT & SLP per diem staff
Average Caseload: 10–12 patients per day
Orientation: 2–3 days

Patient Population
Elective Orthopedics
General Surgery
Medical patients

Role Responsibilities
Provide inpatient physical therapy services to acute care patients
Perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Assist patients with mobility, gait training, and functional recovery
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support safe discharge planning
Document patient care accurately and timely in Epic

Epic EMR experience required
