Description

Travel Mammography Technologist | $2582 | (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 40hour/week

13-Week Contract

Location: 5445 Meridian Mark Rd, Suite 450 Atlanta, GA 30342
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Travel Requirement: No local candidates within 50 miles

Experience Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Mammography experience
Strong experience performing diagnostic and screening mammography exams
Comfortable working independently in a high-volume imaging center

Licensure & Certifications
ARRT Mammography Certification – required
ARRT – Mammography (M) – required
BLS – required

Required Documentation (Must Be Current)
Official documentation of at least 200 completed mammography exams within the last 24 months
Must be signed by leadership
15 breast-specific CEUs completed within the last 3 years
8 hours of digital mammography training (documented)
8 hours of 3D/Tomosynthesis training (documented)
40 hours of documented mammography training
Documentation of initial 25 supervised mammography exams

Role Responsibilities
Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning
Maintain compliance with MQSA, ARRT, and facility protocols
Accurately document exams and patient information per department standards
Collaborate with radiologists and imaging staff to support efficient workflow
Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to radiation safety standards
