Local Nurse Manager-Endoscopy | $5600 | 40 Hours

Duration: 13-Week Contract

Job Summary
The Nurse Manager holds 24-hour accountability for the operational and clinical management of the Endoscopy Unit and Interventional Radiology Department.

This role is responsible for:
Assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care delivery
Ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient services
Maintaining compliance with established nursing standards and hospital policies
Overseeing professional nursing practice across assigned units
Providing leadership to multidisciplinary clinical and support staff

Direct reports include:
Registered Nurses
Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs)
Patient Care Assistants (PCAs)
Unit Secretaries

Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years of nursing experience within Endoscopy or related specialty area
3–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Equivalent combination of education and leadership experience may be considered

Licensure & Certification
Active Massachusetts RN License (Required)
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong background in procedural nursing (Endoscopy / IR preferred)
Proven leadership in staff development and performance management
Experience managing workflow, quality metrics, and patient safety initiatives
Skilled in budgeting, staffing, and operational oversight
Comfortable with 24-hour unit accountability
