Travel Certified Surgical Technician | $2340 | (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 40 Hours

Job Details:
Location: Watertown, NY Shift: (8-hour days)
Contract Length: 13 weeks Radius Rule:100-mile radius (no local candidates within 100 miles)

No LOCAL candidates within 100 miles

Required Qualifications:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – NBSTSA or NCCT only
Active BLS Certification
Prior Travel Experience Required
Strong Orthopedic experience required
Must have extensive scrubbing experience
Da Vinci robotic experience required
Approved pharmacology course OR prior medication experience with successful completion of medication exam
Knowledge of sterilization, disinfection, and cleaning of OR instrumentation
Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes when called in

Role Overview
The Certified Surgical Technologist will function under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and assist in the preparation and care of surgical patients. Responsibilities include performing scrub duties, maintaining a sterile field, ensuring proper instrument functionality, and supporting surgeons during procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain sterile surgical field
Scrub and assist during orthopedic and robotic (Da Vinci) procedures
Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and functioning safely
Anticipate surgeon needs and respond efficiently during procedures
Assist with room turnover and OR readiness
Precept new staff as needed
Comply with hospital and departmental policies
