Location: Watertown, NY Shift: (8-hour days) 8am-4:30pm
Contract Length: 13 weeks Radius Rule:100-mile radius (no local candidates within 100 miles)

Position Overview

The Radiology Specialist Assistant provides advanced patient care services under the supervision of a radiologist, in accordance with approved delineation of privileges. This role delivers age-appropriate care across the lifespan and supports the continuum of care through clinical expertise, procedural assistance, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The ideal candidate has strong interventional radiology experience and can independently perform fluoroscopic and image-guided procedures within scope of practice.

Qualifications
Graduate of an approved course of study acceptable to the New York State Education Department
Bachelor’s degree required (Radiologic Technology or related field)
Radiologist Assistant (RA) or Physician Assistant (PA) with radiology focus preferred

Certifications Required
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) – Radiography
BLS required
ACLS preferred
Highly Preferred Certifications
RRA (Registered Radiologist Assistant)

Additional certifications in:
CT
Ultrasound
Interventional Radiology
