Description

Travel Certified Surgical Technologist| $2480 | (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 40 hours/week

Job Details:
Location: Watertown, NY
Start Date: April 20, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift:Days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) | 8-Hour Shifts
Requirements: Weekend, Call, and Holiday rotations required.

Requirements:
Must be certified through NBSTSA or NCCT only.
Must have prior travel experience (No first-time travelers).
Proven experience in Ortho and DaVinci Robotic systems.
Strong proficiency in scrubbing and sterile technique.
Clinical Knowledge: Successful completion of an approved pharmacology course or previous medication experience (must pass a medication exam).
Expertise in cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of OR instrumentation.

Certification Required: BLS

Unit Specifics & Expectations
Role: Functions under the direct supervision of an RN to assist in nursing care and surgical patient preparation.
On-Call: Must be able to arrive at the facility within 30 minutes of being called in.
Leadership: May be requested to precept new staff members.
Duties: Maintaining a sterile field, ensuring equipment safety/functionality, and providing precise assistance to surgeons during procedures.

Radius Rule
Any candidate with a permanent address within a 100-mile radius of the facility will NOT be eligible for travel rates.
