Description

Travel Speech Therapist | $2340 | (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 40 hours/week

Job Details:
Location: Cumming, GA
Start Date: April 25, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: M-F 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekends: Minimum 2 weekends per 4 weeks (preferred: 4 weekends per 4 weeks)
Radius Rule: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify.

Required Qualifications
✔️ Minimum 2 years of SLP experience
✔️ BLS certification through the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications
✔️ Prior acute care experience
✔️ Experience with MBS (Modified Barium Swallow) and/or FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing)Additional
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Manage dysphagia and communication impairments
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Provide therapy across various units including ICU and neuro/stroke populations
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
