Travel RN Medical/Surgical | $2626 | (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 36 Hours
Job Details:
Location: Concord, MA Shift and Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM night shifts Every other weekend required
Every other holiday required
Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: May 26, 2026
TRAVELER RADIUS RULE: 50 miles
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care for neonates during high-risk deliveries and in a Level II nursery. Care may also extend to Mother/Baby and Labor & Delivery coverage as needed. Nursing practice must align with departmental standards, regulatory guidelines, and professional nursing organizations. The RN is accountable for patient safety and the quality of care delivered or supervised, and serves as a primary liaison to the Director of Obstetrical Nursing or designee.
Key Responsibilities:
✔Provide age-appropriate, high-quality neonatal care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
✔Develop, implement, evaluate, and modify individualized nursing care plans for patients and families
✔Supervise and delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel within scope of practice
✔Participate in continuing education, in-services, and hospital improvement initiatives
✔Coordinate interdisciplinary care and maintain effective communication with the care team
✔Provide patient and family education as appropriate
✔Document care accurately according to policy
✔Support staff development through mentoring and preceptorship
✔Float/cover Mother-Baby and Labor & Delivery as required
Minimum Qualifications:
✔Minimum 2 years of experience in special care nursing of newborns
✔Travel RN experience required
Licensure & Certifications:
✔Active Massachusetts RN license required
✔BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) required
✔NRP required
