Travel Ultrasound Technician |$2808 I (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 36 hours/week
Job Details:
Location: Watertown, NY
Start Date: July 6, 2026 Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Radius Rule: Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to qualify.
Position Overview
The Ultrasound Technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic sonographic examinations with a primary focus on vascular and obstetric imaging. The ideal candidate will be experienced in producing high-quality diagnostic images, collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams, and providing compassionate patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Required Qualifications ✔️Registered (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) – Required
✔️Current BLS Certification
✔️Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography
✔️Minimum 1 year of radiology/imaging experience
✔️Specific training and experience in Medical Sonography
✔️Vascular and Obstetric (OB) Ultrasound experience required
✔️Must maintain all applicable state and federal licenses and registries
Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of:
✔️Human anatomy and physiology
✔️Medical terminology
✔️Diagnostic ultrasound principles and procedures
✔️Proficiency with major ultrasound equipment, hardware, and software systems
✔️Ability to comply with on-call requirements as needed
✔️Computer proficiency, including word processing applications
✔️Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
✔️Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and independent judgment abilities
✔️Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
✔️Professional demeanor with a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
✔️Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to assume additional responsibilities
✔️Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
