Description

Travel Registered Nurse ED | $2592 (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 36 hours/week

Job Details:
Specialty: Registered Nurse Emergency Department
Schedule: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM | Day Shift
Contract Duration: 18 weeks
Dates: September 21, 2026 – January 24, 2027
On-Call: Yes

Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly 
Orientation Pay: Please note that the pay schedule is bi-weekly and during the orientation, you will be paid 50% of your pay rate. 


Radius Rule: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify.


Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have strong emergency nursing skills and prior experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center.

Key Responsibilities
✓ Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
✓ Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity.
✓ Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
✓ Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered.
✓ Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
✓ Provide patient and family education and support.
✓ Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
✓ Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.
✓ Respond effectively to emergency and trauma situations.

Qualifications
✓ Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut or eligible compact license.
✓ Emergency Room/ED experience required.
✓ Level I or Level II Trauma experience required.
✓ BLS certification required.
✓ ACLS certification required.
✓ ENPC or PALS certification required.
✓ TNCC certification required.
✓ Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and emergency response skills.
✓ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
