Travel Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery | $2556 (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 36 hours/week
Job Details:

Schedule: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM | Night Shift
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Dates: September 13, 2026 – December 12, 2026
Call Requirement: 4 × 12-hour call shifts within a 6-week period
On-Call: Yes
Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly
Orientation Pay: Please note that the pay schedule is bi-weekly and during the orientation, you will be paid 50% of your pay rate.
Radius Rule: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify.
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a robust L&D unit. The ideal candidates will have strong labor and delivery experience and be comfortable working night shifts, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients throughout the childbirth process.
Key Responsibilities
✓ Assess patient needs using medical history, observation, physical examinations, and diagnostic data.
✓ Provide age-appropriate nursing interventions consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice.
✓ Provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care to patients and families.
✓ Follow health and safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
✓ Support Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators and department quality initiatives.
✓ Precept and mentor new and novice nursing staff as needed.
✓ Participate in evidence-based practice initiatives and professional development activities.
✓ Float to other like units as needed.
✓ Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Initial Requirement
✓ Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
✓ Previous Labor & Delivery experience required.
✓ Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
✓ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
✓ Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
✓ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced L&D environment.
