Description

Functions as an integral part of the Interventional Radiology team by caring for patients undergoing image-guided procedures. The Interventional Technologist (IR Tech) will be responsible for performing radiological and technical skills using the C-arm and other fluoroscopy equipment to demonstrate portions of the human anatomy on the fluoroscopic screen for diagnostic and interventional purposes, as well as scrub cases alongside the physician. The IR Tech will also provide assistance to physicians, registered nurses and other professionals. The IR Tech must be able to take call on weeknights, weekends, and holidays on a rotational team and be at the hospital within 30 minutes.

MINIMUM 2-YEARS IR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

ARRT Required

Shift: 7.30a - 3.30p; 40 hours/week

Weekends: Yes

Holidays: On call 1 holiday rotation

On-Call: 1 weeknight (3:30pm-7am) per week. On call 1 weekend of 3 (Fri.3:30pm - Tues. 7:00am) On call 1 holiday in rotation.
