Description

*** The candidate must be 100 miles and above from work location, any candidate below 100 miles will not be qualified for this role*** Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology
Location: Zion, IL
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 – 16:30) | Monday–Friday
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years Interventional Radiology RN experience (5 years preferred) in oncology interventional suites and hospital-based IR departments
• Experience in pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure care, including IR recovery, patient prep, and discharge processes
• Experience administering and monitoring moderate/procedural sedation, including patient assessment, airway monitoring, and hemodynamic stability
• Experience with IR procedures: gastrostomy tube placement, liver ablation, paracentesis, nephrostomy, renal artery stent placement, lung biopsy, pulmonary angiography, thoracentesis, and central venous access/port placement
• Experience in radiation and laser safety, ventilator monitoring, and working in high-acuity procedural environments
• Experience using EPIC documentation, Pyxis medication systems, and working in multidisciplinary IR teams with radiologist support
License: IL State RN License
Certification: ACLS, BLS (AHA only)
