Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide acute care therapy services to patients of all ages. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients improve their functional abilities and independence. The therapist will collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team and serve as a clinical resource for staff and students while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence and daily living skills.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and home exercise programs.
Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately and timely.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Serve as a professional role model and clinical resource for staff and students.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (required).
Active Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) License.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Acute care experience preferred.
