Description
Speciality: Board Certified Behavior Analyst, State licensure
Duration: 13 weeks of Contract to FTE
Location: Hamtramck MI (Floating Between Locations Hamtramck and Troy)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday through Friday
Required Skills:
• Master's Degree
• Active BCBA certification/licensure
• State licensure
• Minimum 1-year BCBA experience
• Experience supervising ABA therapy
• Ability to independently manage patient caseloads
Note: This is a local position based in Hamtramck MI, and candidates will be fully responsible for covering all relocation expenses independently, including travel (airfare) and accommodation costs. If this does not align with your preferences, please feel free to opt out.
Summary:
• The priority is to hire clinicians providing direct patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
• Supervising ABA Technicians
• Creating treatment and lesson plans
• Supervising therapy sessions
• Monitoring patient progress
• Documentation in Epic and Excel
• Curriculum adjustments
• Weekly patient supervision
The BCBA program currently serves 33 children receiving ABA therapy.
• Children attend in:
• Morning sessions
• Afternoon sessions
Each BCBA typically manages:
• Approximately 10 patients
• Some may oversee 11–12 patients depending on schedules.
Preferred
• 3–5 years of BCBA experience
• Experience within a hospital or large health system
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
• Basic Excel skills for documentation and lesson planning
