Position: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics (RRT)
Location: Akron, OH 44307
Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM)
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract (With a possibility of Extension)
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) to join the Neuro Diagnostics team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to support multiple facilities as needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in neuro diagnostics and related units
• Perform diagnostic testing and therapeutic procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Monitor, assess, and document patient responses to respiratory treatments
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Float to other Cleveland Clinic facilities as required
• Work weekends and additional shifts based on department needs
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• CRT or RRT credentials accepted
• Active certification from National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS)
• Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist license (must be in hand at time of submission)
Additional Requirements
• Must be available to work weekends as needed
• Flexibility to float across Cleveland Clinic Foundation (CCF) facilities
• Complete and accurate work history is required, including all prior experience with Cleveland Clinic
• All Requested Time Off (RTO) and scheduling preferences must be communicated at the time of submission and during the interview process
