Position: Audiologist
Location: Johnson City, NY 13790
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract (with possibilities of extension)
Shift: 8am-5pm Mon to Fri
Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified Audiologist. The Audiologist will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients with hearing and balance disorders. This role will work closely with ENT specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care
Duties
• Conduct comprehensive hearing and balance evaluations using audiological testing equipment.
• Diagnose hearing loss, tinnitus, and other auditory or vestibular disorders.
• Provide recommendations for treatment options such as hearing aids, assistive listening devices, or other therapies.
• Perform audiometric tests, including pure tone audiometry, speech testing, and tympanometry.
• Counsel patients and families on hearing health, treatment options, and hearing protection.
• Work collaboratively with ENT physicians and clinical staff to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and safety protocols.
• Participate in patient follow-ups and provide ongoing support for hearing device adjustments and management when required.
Required Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Audiology.
• New York State Audiologist License required at time of start.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based clinical environment.
