About

Nashville is Tennessee's capital city and lies along the Cumberland River. With its mild climate, it’s enjoyable to live, work and play in this musical city year-round. Nashville’s music scene has many draws, with attractions like the Grand Ole Opry, the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum, the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum and countless honky-tonk bars. Even if you aren't into music, other attractions appeal to a wide array of tastes, including historical landmarks like Andrew Jackson's Hermitage, where visitors can get an up-close look at the seventh president's home life on a guided tour. The Adventure Science Center, the Frist Art Museum and the Tennessee State Museum are just a few other popular institutions. Shopping enthusiasts won't want to miss Marathon Village, a former automobile plant, now serving as a contemporary space for art galleries, studios and flagship stores like Jack Daniel's General Store.
