Description
- 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday with 1-hour lunch
- Approx. 36 cases per day -- ~9,150 cases per year
- Hospital setting
- Frozen sections -- upwards of 800 per year
- Skills required: grossing, staining, and embedding
- Complex resections -- GYN, breast, thyroid, colon, lung, GU
- Autopsy involvement preferred but not required -- ~25 cases/year
- ASCP certification required

Per week (based on a 40-hour week). Includes estimated taxable wages of $42.70 - $56.08 per hour and estimated tax-free reimbursements for meals, incidentals, and housing of $900 - $1,400 per week based on GSA guidelines (subject to eligibility, location, and seasonal adjustment).
