Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm -- 5x8 shifts
Hospital setting
Gross description and sampling of tissue specimens at all complexity levels
Autopsy evisceration, prosection, and preliminary diagnosis dictation
Frozen section evaluation, cutting, staining, and cover slipping required
Case accessioning, photography of surgical and autopsy cases
ASCP certification required
1 - 2 years of experience preferred; grossing qualification a plus

Per week (based on a 40-hour week). Includes estimated taxable wages of $42.70 - $56.08 per hour and estimated tax-free reimbursements for meals, incidentals, and housing of $900 - $1,400 per week based on GSA guidelines (subject to eligibility, location, and seasonal adjustment).
