Pay Breakdown:
• Hourly: $42.14/hr Taxed ($1,517.04/wk Taxed) +
• Per Diem Eligibility: $1,687.00/wk =
• $3,204.04/wk Gross Eligibility

Total Bed Count: 24
*Bed Types and How Divided: 3 Natural birthing suites (queen bed, only doppler monitoring), 1-Ante room, 19 LDRP rooms , 2 rooms out of service

Staffing Ratios:
Ratios are determined by state law and AWHONN staffing. Labor is mainly 1:1, Postpartum is 1:3 mother/baby couplets, and we have 1 nursery RN that goes to resuscitation and stabilizes. We have a level 1 nursery so babies needing higher level care get transferred to NICU.

Schedule Requirements:
Call Required: If you get called off due to low census then we require call for that shift
Float Required: No
Weekend Coverage: Yes, We have 12 hour shifts so staff do every 3rd weekend
Scheduling Type: Block on days, self on nights

Unit Systems:
Medication System: Omnicell
Documentation System: EPIC

Support:
IV Teams: No, We have nurses that are certified with ultrasound placement on our unit
Lift Teams: No
Pharmacy: No
Phlebotomy: Yes, 24/7 but we draw with IV starts on OB
Transportation: No
Unit Secretary: Yes, Scrub techs do front desk and scrub and clean up after deliveries

Provider Coverage:
Intensivist: Yes, OB and anesthesia in House 24/7. Have TeleNicu for infant resus. Also have OHSU pediatrician M-F on unit 0800-1700 then they take call for afterhours and weekends.
Hospitalist: Yes, Medical hospitalist in house 24/7

Additional Unit Information:
Special Equipment: Nitrous oxide for pain relief
Special Procedures: Tubal ligation and we also do get GYN patients overnight if late robotic surgery
