Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is currently seeking a Medical Assistant to join their clinical team in Ann Arbor, MI. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a patient-focused environment while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support efficient patient flow throughout the clinic
• Prepare exam rooms for patient visits and procedures
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Perform electronic medical charting accurately and in a timely manner
Qualifications:
• Current, up-to-date resume
• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant program, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience taking patient vitals in a clinical setting
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Compliance with immunization requirements: MMR, Varicella (Chickenpox), Tdap, seasonal Flu vaccine, and a current negative TB test
