This position may be filled by either a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Proper credentialing and licensure are required. Responsibilities:

Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education. Qualifications:

Education

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences Required

Work Experience

• No experience required

Licenses and Certifications

• CRT - redentialed by the National Board for
  Respiratory Care as a Certified Respiratory
  Therapist (CRT) and licensed by the State
  of Georgia under the Composite State
  Board of Medical Examiners and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 Days Required
