Responsibilities:

MRI,lll, WEO, FT, Piedmont Columbus Midtown, SOB available

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advanced MR imaging and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 2 years experience as an MRI Technologist Required

Licenses and Certifications

• (MR) ARDMS or ARRT - Magnetic Resonance Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R) (MR) Upon Hire Required and
• Advanced certification by the ARRT in MRI (MR) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
