Description
Work Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Shifts scheduled between the hours of 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Hand and Upper Extremity Fellow (OT) to:
Attend and participate in didactic education designed to advance clinical reasoning and pattern recognition in the hand and upper extremity.
Challenge your own clinical decision making through constructive feedback in didactic units, case presentations and scholarly inquiry.
Form alliances with patients and their families with the common goal of optimizing function following acute injuries, cumulative and non-traumatic injuries, and surgical procedures related to hand and upper extremity impairments.
Expand knowledge and interventional skills in lymphedema.
Collaborate on a weekly basis with advanced practitioners and board certified, fellowship trained orthopedic and plastic surgeons.
Treat a variety of pre- and post-operative upper extremity conditions while being mentored by staff.
Collaborate with other providers in coordinating patient and family care across multiple services.

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited, entry-level degree program (Baccalaureate or higher) in Occupational Therapy Required
Credentialed by National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapists (NBCOT) Required
Must obtain NPI number prior to starting the fellowship program Required
Work Experience
1 year of prior relevant experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months Required
