Work Schedule:
This is a full-time, position scheduled to work Monday through Friday, with core hours between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM plus a manager on-call rotation. Applicants hired into this position will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

UW Health is seeking an experienced and visionary Pharmacy Manager - Oncology to lead our rapidly expanding oncology pharmacy service line and support the complex, high acuity needs of cancer patients across our system. This leader will play a critical role in ensuring clinical excellence, operational stability, and financial stewardship for one of the most strategically important areas of our organization.
We are seeking a Pharmacy Manager – Oncology to:
- Provide enterprise level leadership for oncology pharmacy services across all UW Health–Wisconsin locations.
- Ensure safe, evidence based, and efficient medication use for both adult and pediatric oncology patients while supporting the operational, quality, and accreditation needs of Wisconsin’s only Comprehensive Cancer Center.
- Lead oncology drug cost containment strategies, including evidence based medicine initiatives, biosimilar optimization, drug budget forecasting, and resource efficient medication management.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy. Required
- Master’s degree in pharmacy administration, healthcare administration, business or other relevant subject area. Preferred
- Pharm D degree. Preferred
- Completion of an ASHP PGY2 pharmacy residency in health-system pharmacy administration or five (5) years of relevant work experience. Required
- Three years of health-system pharmacy leadership or management experience. Preferred
- Licensed as a pharmacist in Wisconsin or must obtain within 90 days of hire date. Required
- BLS required or must be obtained within 90 days. Required
- Certification through the appropriate certifying program (Board of Pharmacy Specialties, National Board of Nutrition Support Certification, National Certification Board for Anticoagulation Providers, Specialty Pharmacy Certification Board, etc.). Preferred
