Description
Work Schedule:
Part-time, 60% FTE, day shift position, 24 hours/week. Weekly Schedule includes; Sunday, 12:00 PM - 4:30 PM, Monday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Tuesday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM and Wednesday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
Pay:
This position may be eligible for a $2,400 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Behavioral Health to:
Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for patients with behavioral health needs in both the Emergency Department and the Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit at University Hospital.
Develop, implement and facilitate therapeutic group sessions.
Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs.
Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary care team and collaborate with UW Health departments to optimize care coordination and patient outcomes.
Partner with UW Health wellness staff to support long-term health and wellness strategies that extend beyond occupational therapy services.
Contribute to a large, dynamic rehabilitation team committed to delivering exceptional, patient- and family-centered care.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy Required
Work Experience
- 2 years prior relevant experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months Required
