Description
Work Schedule:
10% FTE, PRN, Operational hours from 6:30AM – 7:00PM with night/weekend on-call requirements (30-minute call response time). You may be eligible for up to a $1000.00 sign-on bonus. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.
Pay:
- This position may be eligible for a $ 1000.00 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).
- Additional components of compensation may include:
- Evening, Night & Weekend shift differential
- Overtime
- On-call pay

We are seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) :
Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) / Cath Lab Tech to:
- Perform adult diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures.
- Practice in a growing technologically advanced and dynamic interventional procedural area.
- Be an integral member of our highly collaborative multidisciplinary team.
- Assist with scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring invasive cardiovascular procedures.
- Receive opportunities to cross-train to our growing Pediatric and Adult Congenital Invasive Cardiology Program.

- Graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Technologist (CVIS) training program Required
- One year of Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab), Electrophysiology or Interventional Radiology experience or participation in the CVT apprenticeship program may b e considered in lieu of education requirement
- Graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) Technologist training program Preferred
- 2 years of Cardiovascular Technologist work experience in a Cardiac Catheterization or Electrophysiology Laboratory Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR Certification Upon Hire Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months Required
- RCIS certification. If a graduate meeting minimum education requirement, then licensed, certified, or registered by appropriate credentialing program Preferred
