Description

Job Title: BHMC - RN - Wound Care

Location: Brooklyn, NY

 

MUST UPLOAD CURRENT RESUME / CERTIFICATIONS

Job Summary:
Under the direction and supervision of the Wound and Ostomy Manager, the wound, ostomy, and continence nurse will provide safe, competent, quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients.

Required Qualifications:

MUST HAVE A WOUND CARE CERTIFICATE.

Hands On and Pressure Injury experience needed

  • Three to five (3-5) years of experience in healthcare.
  • BSN
  • Ability to fully utilize BHMC’s electronic record systems, equipment, and other healthcare and billing systems relevant to this position.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Active NYS Registered Nurse license.
  • Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON) issued by the WOCNCB; or Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) issued by the WOCNCB; or Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) issued by the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM); or Wound Care Certified Certification (WCC) issued by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO).
     

RightSourcing (a part of Magnit) expected pay package may vary and/or include certain benefits like: Stipends (for clinical traveler workers only), Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K
