IMC - RN - Critical Care

Location: Brooklyn, NY
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Required Skills & Experience:
-2+ years of Critical Care nursing experience preferred.
-Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
Required Education:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-New York State RN License.
-ACLS and BLS required.
Job Summary:
The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for prescribing, delegating, and coordinating all nursing care as defined by The New York State Nursing Practice Act. This role focuses on assisting critically ill patients in achieving their optimum health potential within the framework of the nursing process. Responsibilities include collaboration with care providers and other healthcare team members to address patient and family needs. The Critical Care RN provides care to ICU and telemetry patients aged 18 years and older.
Required Qualifications:
• 2+ years of Critical Care nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• New York State RN License.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Additional Information:
• Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, and bending.
• May involve some repetitive motions.
