Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in Needham Heights, MA who is currently seeking a qualified Specimen Processor to assist them on a contractual basis.

Details of the position include:Position: Specimen ProcessorLocation: Needham Heights, MAStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks - temp to perm possibility Schedule:

·         40 hours per week

·         Monday-Friday

·         2:00pm - 10:30pm

·         First day will start 11a-12p for training/orientation 

Contract Requirements:

• 1+ years of specimen processing experience
• Will be labeling specimens, verifying patient information, and entering data – must be detail oriented
• Specimen accessioning background strongly preferred - Will be accessioning tissue specimens for surgical pathology processing
• No travelers – local temp only
• Experience with any Laboratory Information System is a plus, does not need to be EPIC/Beaker – willing to train
• Covid vaccine no longer required
• No specific certification or degree required – just relevant experience
• Ideal candidate has pathology lab or clinical lab experience and knowledge of anatomy and physiology

Pay:

• $25/hr

EMR: Epic
