Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) 

Location: Louisville, KY
Start Date: 1/5/2026
Shift: Multiple openings – Day and Night shifts available
Hours: 40 hrs/week
Pay: $2,300/week (Travel Package) or $55/hr (Local Rate)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Respiratory Therapists (RRT or CRT) to provide respiratory and pulmonary care for pediatric patients in a long-term care facility. This role involves managing respiratory equipment, performing assessments, and delivering therapy under physician direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients for respiratory and psychosocial changes.
• Perform diagnostic tests and assist in determining treatment options.
• Administer respiratory therapy and manage pulmonary equipment.
• Educate patients and families on lung diseases and breathing disorders.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes promptly.

Requirements

• Current RRT or CRT license in state of practice.
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Health certificate, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable).
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
• Strong communication and clinical skills.

Vaccination Requirements

• Titers required: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B.
• Standard vaccines: Tdap booster, annual TB test, flu vaccine, COVID-19 (declination form if declined), pneumococcal vaccine (declination form if declined).
