Job Type: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Position Summary
We are seeking a certified Phlebotomist to join our team in a correctional healthcare setting in Boston, MA. This role is essential for specimen collection and laboratory coordination while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and process blood and other specimens; ensure proper labeling and documentation.
- Coordinate specimen transportation and processing with laboratory vendors.
- Maintain phlebotomy area cleanliness and stock supplies.
- Perform daily sharps counts and log totals.
- Monitor and document refrigerator temperatures.
- Follow all laboratory, infection control, and security protocols.
- Order and manage lab supplies and maintain inventory.
- Document lab results and ensure provider sign-off.
- Comply with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certification: Phlebotomist Certification required.
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of prior phlebotomy experience.
- Must pass facility background clearance.
