Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School Setting

Location: Grossmont, CA
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview:

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations, providing therapy services, and documenting progress in accordance with individualized care plans and physician orders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct student evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Document therapy sessions and progress per district and state guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in California
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Compliance with all professional standards of practice
• Current CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• School experience preferred

Position Details:

• Shift: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Caseload: Approximately 36 students
• Grade Level: High School
• Setting: One site only 
• In-Person Only

Compensation:

• Local Pay Rate: $70/hour
• Travel Pay: Available upon request
