The Surgical Technician/Tissue Processing Technician is responsible for the sterilization of surgical equipment, arrange surgical equipment and adjust medical tools to ensure that the surgical devices are functioning properly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Surgical Technologist certification as applicable per state and/or client requirement
• One year experience as a Surgical Technician preferred (Tissue Processing Technologist – only) 
• Degree in biology related field which includes a degree / certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age  

NBSTSA or NCCT certifications are acceptable

Must have experience with Orthopedics including totals, General with Bariatrics, Davinci and Mako Robotics, GYN, Colonoscopies, EGD’s, pain injections, Laminectomies

Reliable transportation during assignment due to on-call requirement
