Assists physicians with diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiac arrhythmias in the Cath/EP Lab.  Specializes in the care of patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, EP devices and ablations.  The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist functions as a technical resource and provides scrub assistance to cardiologists in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent - Cardiovascular Technologist Program, Radiology Technologist Program or Bachelor's in Health Science
• 2 years of relevant experience required – Clinical experience in electrophysiology or invasive cardiology procedures
• ARRT, RCES, RCIS, ACLS, BLS 
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable   
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
