The MRI Technologist uses magnetic resonance imaging scanners and related equipment to capture specific images ordered by a physician to aid in patient diagnosis.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in the radiology field
• Registered with the ARRT; if required by state regulations or contract specification.
• One (1) one year of experience in related field preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Shift: Variable
• Travel Weekly Pay: $3,101/week
  • $1,120 taxable
  • $1,981 stipends

?? Licensure & Certification Requirements

• ARRT(M) or ARMIT – Required
• California Radiologic Technology License – Required
• Intravenous Therapy Certification – Required
• Venipuncture Certification – Required
• Current BLS (AHA) – Required

?? Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years as a licensed MRI Technologist
• EPIC or Meditech charting experience (both preferred)
