Amergis Staffing is currently seeking Occupational Therapist Assistants for the 2025/2026 school year in the National City, CA area.

Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides occupational therapy services including treatment, implementation, standardized assessment data, and documentation to students in the school setting.

Position Details:

 

Pay: $2260 Weekly (Travel candidates for 50+ miles)

Local Pay: $1800 Weekly

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours/Week: 40 Hours

Start Date: March 2026

Length: 2025/2026 School Year

Settings: Floating throughout the district, no more than 1 district/day, no IEP attendance, possible extension through next school year

             

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification or licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy Assistant required
• One (1) year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice 
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
