Amergis Staffing is currently seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants for the 2025/2026 school year in the Port Hueneme, CA area.

Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides occupational therapy services including treatment, implementation, standardized assessment data, and documentation to students in the school setting.

Hours: 40 Hours Weekly

Start Date: ASAP

Settings: 2 Sites: 2 Days at Elementary school & 3 days at Preschool

Caseload: 50 Students

Length: 2025/2026 School Year

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification or licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy Assistant required
• One (1) year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice 
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
