Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in New Bedford, MA who is currently seeking a qualified Medical Lab Tech to assist them on a contractual basis.

Details of the position include:Position: Medical Lab Tech - Microbiology Location: New Bedford, MAStart Date: 4/13 or laterDuration: 13 or 26 weeks - likelihood of extensionSchedule:

• 40 hours per week
• 3:30p-12a
• Every other weekend 
• Every other holiday 
• Orientation will be during the day shift - discussed in interview 

Contract Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience reading cultures in microbiology – must be able to work independently after orienting
• Must have gram stain experience
• Must be specialized in microbiology
• 5+ years total experience as a MLT or MT
• ASCP certification preferred but not required
• Prior experience working in a hospital lab setting as a MLT or MT

Pay:

• $75/hr local
• $3,282/week travel 

EMR: Epic Beaker - willing to train
Parking: Free on-site
