The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor.  The Respiratory Therapist treats conditions that affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having trouble breathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health care settings. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the state in which he/she practices
• One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age Compliance & Ethics Expectations

Amergis Healthcare is actively looking for a Registered Respiratory Therapist that would be interested in an 13 Week, full-time contract opportunity at a hospital in Rock Island, IL. Additional details of the contract are below:

Position: Respiratory Therapist

Location: Rock Island, IL

Total Travel Package: $2,170/week

*Must reside over 50 miles away to qualify for travel package*

Schedule:

• 40 Hours Guaranteed
• Evenings; 2pm - 10:30pm
• Every other Weekend requirement

Duration:

• 13 Weeks (likely extension) 

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience as RRT
• IL RRT
• 4/6/26 Start
• Only accepting Travelers (reside 50+ miles)
• First time travelers are accepted
