Pay Rate: $48.00/hour

Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for conducting student evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, providing direct therapy services, and documenting all services in accordance with each student’s plan of care. The OT collaborates with school personnel and adheres to district, state, and professional practice standards.

Schedule

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Standard school-day schedule (specific hours based on district)
• 5-day contract aligned with the start of the school year
• No weekends or holidays
• Client interview required (phone or virtual)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct functional assessments and student evaluations
• Develop and implement therapy plans based on student needs
• Deliver direct school-based occupational therapy services
• Document all services in compliance with district standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families
• Maintain adherence to all professional and regulatory standards
• Support student participation in academic and functional activities

Minimum Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice
• One year of prior OT experience preferred
• Compliance with all professional standards
• Current CPR, if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (per requirements)
• Current Health Certificate (if required)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local regulations
• Must be at least 18 years old
