Job Description:
Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time, onsite Occupational Therapist (OT) to support a school district in the Menifee area. The OT will work with a diverse K–8 caseload across multiple school sites and must be available for full-time onsite services Monday through Friday. This contract runs from NOW through the end of the 25/26 School Year, with a strong likelihood of extension for the remainder of the school year.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in grades K–12.
• Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEP development, including goal creation and service recommendations.
• Address fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-help, and access-to-curriculum needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress reports, and service logs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers.
• Travel between assigned school sites within the Hemet area as needed.
• Support the implementation of accommodations, interventions, and classroom strategies.

Requirements:

• Active California Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a K–12 caseload across multiple campuses.
• Must be available for full-time, onsite services Monday–Friday.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation for site-to-site travel.
