Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a highly respected facility in Clinton, MA seeking Youth Advocate Coordinator to provides counseling to females between the ages of 14-22 in a Staff Secured DYS Program.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with a similar population and possess supervisory experience.

Position Details:

• Location: Clinton, MA
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Facility Type: DYS Program
• Schedule: 2 Schedules Available. 40 hours/wk 
• 3p-11p Tuesday-Saturday (Sunday/Monday off)

Female Only Schedule 11p-7a Tuesday-Saturday (Sunday/Monday off)

• Salary: $25

The facility is seeking passionate, compassionate, service-oriented individuals to work in a staff secure setting with youth in the Department of Youth Services' care. This position provides a great opportunity to positively influence a youth’s life by being a patient and supportive caregiver. The role is multifaceted and includes teaching, limit setting, advocating, coordinating care, and serving as a role model and mentor. Work as part of a dedicated team to make a difference in a youth’s life. This entry-level position is a terrific way for those interested in careers in human services or education to develop their skills and gain relevant experience working with youth.
Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily activities for staff and youth 
• Supervise direct care staff ensuring policies are adhered to and expectations are met
• Ensure safety and security, including security checks
• Assist in developing and implementing Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
• Promote teamwork among staff and youth, fostering a supportive environment
• Help youth identify goals and interests
• Cultivate a positive program environment
• Assign and lead daily group activities
• Serve as an advocate and role model for youth

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field
• At least two years experience with the population
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license
• Supervisory experience is preferred 
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
