Amergis Education Staffing is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a summer contract assignment with Pasadena Unified School District. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who enjoys working with students in a school-based environment and is available for a summer-only assignment.

The Occupational Therapist will support students in achieving success in the educational setting by evaluating, planning, and implementing occupational therapy services aligned with IEP goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting
• Conduct evaluations and assessments as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, counselors, and special education staff
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed

Qualifications

• Current California Occupational Therapist license
• NBCOT certification preferred
• Experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage caseloads efficiently

• Schedule: School-based hours (details provided during interview)

• Contract Role: Summer-only coverage
