Amergis Staffing is currently seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for the 2025/26 school year in the San Diego, CA area.

 

Position Details: COTA License

Hours/Week: 35 hours

Start Date: April 27th, 2026

Length: 25/26 School Year

Details: Grade Level Elementary School, Caseload 40, in person only,

 Pay: Local Rate: $45/hour

Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides occupational therapy services including treatment, implementation, standardized assessment data, and documentation to students in the school setting.              

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification or licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy Assistant required
• One (1) year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice 
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
