?? About the Role

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a passionate and dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist to support students throughout the 2026–2027 school year in Los Angeles, California. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic success, functional independence, and overall participation in the school environment.

? Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in compliance with IEP goals
• Evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory-processing, self-care, and school-based functional skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports per state and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and educational planning as required

? Qualifications

• Current California Occupational Therapist license (required)
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• NBCOT certification
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred (new grads welcome)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
