Travel Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) | $2,405/Wk | Ukiah, CA

Variable Shift | Multiple Openings (Days or Nights) | No Call

We’re seeking experienced Clinical Lab Scientists (Generalist) for a travel assignment in Ukiah, CA. This role is ideal for CLS professionals with strong Blood Bank skills who are flexible with variable scheduling and comfortable working evening and occasional night shifts.

Position Highlights

Location: Ukiah, CA
Role: Clinical Lab Scientist (Generalist)
Openings: Multiple

Opening 1 - Nights:

Primary Schedule:

• Evening Shift – Mostly 5×8s
• Start Times: 1300 or 1500

Additional Schedule Need:

• Night Shift – 4×10s
• Hours: 2100–0700
• This schedule may occur for approximately 6 weeks within the contract

Opening 2 - Days:

 06:30, 10:00, or 13:00. Mostly days but may be asked to cover evening from time to time. Rotating days of the week, every third weekend rotation.  

Call: None

Traveler Pay Package

• Total Weekly Pay: $2,405
  • Hourly: $900/week
  • Stipends: $1505/week

Required Qualifications

• Active California CLS License (Generalist) – Required
• Strong Blood Bank experience required
• Proficient in generalist and tube method testing
• Ability to work evening and occasional night shifts

Preferred Experience

• 3 years of Clinical Lab Scientist experience preferred
• Experience in a hospital or acute-care lab setting
• Strong attention to detail and independent problem-solving skills

Additional Requirements

• Strong documentation and laboratory best-practice compliance
• Ability to work independently across shifts
• Must meet all federal, state, and facility requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
