A School Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) works under a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) to implement IEP-driven interventions, helping students improve fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills for academic participation. They provide direct, small-group, or integrated classroom support, modify learning environments, and document progress.
