Part-Time School Physical Therapist (PK–12)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and student-focused Physical Therapist for a PK–12 school-based position in La Center, WA for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time role supports approximately 7 students and offers a flexible schedule, with a preference for services being provided on the same consistent day each week to assist with school staff planning.

The Physical Therapist will conduct student evaluations, provide individualized therapy services, and complete documentation in alignment with each student’s plan of care and physician’s orders when applicable.

This role requires weekly in-person therapy services with students. Documentation and meetings may be completed virtually as needed, offering additional flexibility and work–life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations for assigned students
• Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy services in accordance with professional standards and physician orders
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Washington
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• One (1) year of professional Physical Therapy experience preferred
• Compliance with all professional standards of practice
• Current CPR certification, if applicable
• Completion of TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray as required)
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulations
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
